How pro-India is Joe Biden?

Barack Obama has chosen Joe Biden as the vice presidential candidate to bolster his achilles heel (foreign policy). Indian media immediately dubbed Joe Biden as pro-India. Their rationale was Mr. Biden has ratified the Indo-US nuclear deal. Sure that sounds like fun considering that the deal is stuck with NSG right now. But, how much can he really influence if he comes into power is something we have to wait and see. But the real pro-India slogan for Joe Biden comes to a halt if someone has watched or heard about his racial slur about the Indian immigrants in US.
